If you haven’t heard of Yes To Life or Food Matters then listen up people! Yes To Life is a fantastic charity that has been set up to provide people living with cancer, help and support using an INTEGRATIVE approach. I feel the need to write that in capitals as I want to stress that when it comes to healing illness and disease – not one size fits all. Quite simply, we are all different and I am keen to instil that when faced with any illness from cancer to chrohns, heart disease to hypertension, diabetes to diverticulitis that it is up to us to keep an open mind and therefore consider all options. I’m a big believer in that if something isn’t working, change it.
That’s why I am now doing what I’m doing. I’ve had surgery, I’ve had chemo, I’ve had radiotherapy and I’ve had internal radiotherapy and the cancer STILL came back. So rather than “give it another go” I’m trying something new. Some people go back for more and that’s okay – that’s their personal journey and this is mine. Whatever your approach to cancer, Yes To Life can help guide you through what can be a treacherous journey – maybe even provide you with information your doctor can’t or won’t?
This Wednesday 13th April Yes To Life is screening THE MUST-SEE DVD Food Matters for health-seekers everywhere. I first saw this DVD last year and sat there open-mouthed, shocked at the fascinating content which I doubt you’ll hear in quite the same way. Here’s the trailer so you can see for yourself;
The screening will be taking place this Wednesday 13th April at 6.30pm, 27-29 Cursitor Street, London. I have been asked to join the panel for the Q+A taking place afterwards so if you fancy it, come along! Tickets are £5 which must be purchased in advance online from Yes To Life’s website here.
I hope you can make it!
