Living with cancer peacefully

by Polly N on August 24, 2011

Living with cancer peacefully – now they are 4 words you don’t expect to go together!!  In today’s vlog I share my tips on how I live happily everyday “with cancer”.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to tell you that I don’t have off days or that I have a permanent smile on my face because that would make my nose grow! But I certainly am happier these days despite “having cancer” because I refuse to live my life on the basis that “I can only be happy when……I’m cancer free/lost a stone/have more money/got the perfect job/partner/fill in the blank” – whatever delay tactics you have subconsciously put into place. (And don’t pretend you don’t have one!!)

LIFE WAITS FOR NO-ONE! Not even you! So stop faffing about and start living in the NOW!

In the video below I tell you about the tools I use that can be applied to ANY situation and can benefit YOU too. Check out the vid and links below.

Peaceful Cancer

Here’s the link to the type of mediation I practice and where you can learn.

Also, if you haven’t heard the interview I did with Sandy C. Newbigging last week on how to be present and experience more peace and want some of the shiz I am chanelling, then check out the interview here!

p.s. If you’re up for a MindBody Detox Retreat, check out the one I’m running in October. Spaces are limited so please let me know if you’re interested.

Polly, this video is just so beautiful! You summed up “living with cancer” perfectly. I feel exactly the same way, and I ask myself those same questions whenever I start to allow other people’s fear of cancer affect me. I don’t look like I’m dying, I certainly don’t feel like I’m dying, so how on earth can I be dying?! Especially not today, anyway. Love your work, beautiful girl!

That’s twice I’ve come across this website in recent weeks, so I guess it’s something I am being drawn to read. I’m very interested in raw food which is what brought me here the first time and now the ascension programme. Nice site. Glad I found it again. Will subscribe as soon as it lets me (keep getting an error message).
