Raw desserts are where I first started with raw food – chocolate mousse was my particular favourite. I just thought it was amazing that I could make it from ingredients I had never considered putting together before…and it was good for me! Double Bonus! In this class I will be teaching the fundamentals of dessert making with cakes and cookies galore.

Recipes will include;

  • Discover the 5 ingredients that can be used as natural  food colourings.

Beginners Guide To Going “More Raw” – Cambridge

Saturday 16th March 2013, 11-4pm

Polly is passionate about teaching people how to eat well but believes it is just as important to understand the WHY behind it. You know you should be eating better but is it bad to have the occasional “naughty”? How much is too much? Is it okay eat some cooked foods and still get the benefit of going more raw?And what foods are better? All these questions and more will be answered, illuminating the way for you to make the necessary changes to upgrade your health.

Polly will teach you how to change your thinking behind food, how to make smarter choices no matter where you are or what menu you are confronted with as well as demonstrate delicious recipes to help balance your body’s pH and give you the inspiration and motivation to get off the starting blocks.

The highlight of the summer so far is without a doubt Polly’s raw food class. I’m not entirely new to raw but I get nervous when it comes to making some recipes. Not knowing how they are going to turn out, or what they are going to taste like, can be quite daunting but Polly shows you how it should be done with grace and humour. And I’m glad to say that the crackers I already make at home look like Polly’s so at least I know I’m doing it right! Helen Barker
